Route 53

 Route 53:

  1. It is managed DNS (Domain Name Service)

  2. DNS is a collection of rules & records which helps client to reach a server through domain name.

  3. In AWS the most common records are:

    1. A: hostname mapped to ipv4.

    2. AAAA: hostname mapped to ipv6

    3. CNAME: hostname mapped to another hostname.

    4. Alias: hostname mapped to AWS resource.
